Direct from quarry Macduff slate ‘jade’ overlay layer

Description.

Green layer cut  through to reveal darker stone ink pool  beneath suggesting a Highland lochan.

Mineral Patterns.

A more gemy green ‘jade’ layer than the one on ‘Salmon of Knowledge Yan’ which was from the opposite side of the glen, single small red dot in the inkpool.

Other info

Very good texture to the stone but the design desiring to keep plenty of the ‘jade’ layer makes the ink pool a little small.
